Can education alone solve India’s problem?

Today the task of utilizing education as an instrument of harmony is not an easy affair. Education makes people a civilized, outgoing, open person in approach. Education is the most dependable resource for preparing the youth for initiating a dialogue. It is true the in societies like India which is marked by a continuing intolerant ethos, in which religious ethnic groups blindly follow their narrowest possible roles. Patience, complacency and time are needed for education to play its expected and meaningful role in bring pacification in the society.

Role of the education should be to strive to create in young minds a willingness to tolerate pluralism in opinion and be liberal in life outlook.

But it is disappointing to find that today education does not mean the way it used to be. Today it can be found that educated MA post graduates are among one big lot of uncivilized, bracketed opinioned people. Still in this twenty first century we can find lot of chuck of the masses, who consider women as to be mere Sex object. My opinion of the fact, that only education can make people change their mind and in turn change their outlook towards society becomes wrong.

Even today the good educated people are enslaved by the thought of the barbaric era. Educated post graduates youth today are turning towards radicalization in their thought process. Having illogical reasoning to things makes one feel ashamed of the fact that yes! India is definitely going to become a super power.

What we need is a synthesis of these values- spiritual and moral as well as intellectual- with the aim of producing a fully integrated human being who can have a logical reasoning to things and are more adapt to changes.
