Happy to help !!!

India, my fabulous country, born out of the culture of the sharing and the caring not only at the international front but also at family level. India on the international front has always been a helping hand for its neighbors and friends so are its local inhabitants.

Happiness and sweets are shared not only on Diwali or Id but at localized gatherings too like Kitty parties and family gathering. On close observation on these gatherings one will definitely find this exchanging symptom. Moms and aunts do keep exchanging saris and suits; so that they can flaunt their clothing collection. To some extend I guess it gives them the opportunity to proudly bitch about the other female. It keeps them so engrossed that they actually prepare a list of the kind of saris she wore on that last particular event.

A similar incident occurred last week when my mom had to go in her kitty party and as usual her all sari collection was used up. Dull and pale she had no idea what to wear for the event. Then suddenly my maternal aunt called in up to tell about her recent purchasing of crockery. It reminded my mom of the saris my aunt bought last week. She was so jubilant of the thought of borrowing that she just jumped in to ask for the dress. And to her much expectation she found the one.

This sharing business is so real and practical that people specially aunts find it easy to relate and work upon. They would borrow clothes, accessories and other household stuffs to flaunt as their own in front of guests or in parties as the case may be. They have this smart business of lending out unwanted and extra stuff that usually comes in the form of gifts, depending upon this very characteristic of the ‘kind’ of the person / party is on the other side is.
